Kansas Young Professionals Summit Inspires
The Kansas Young Professionals Summit is an annual day-long, statewide event designed for young professionals (YPs) who are interested in continued development. The summit gives YPs the opportunity to network and attend educational sessions. Paralympic Snowboarder Nicole Roundy was the 2017 Keynote speaker for the Summit held May 5th at the Hyatt Regency Wichita. Roundy shared her story of overcoming challenges to accomplish goals that others deemed impossible. Roundy was the first person to compete in adaptive snowboarding and is now an eight-time World Cup Medalist.
Sundee Dunn, KeyCentrix’s marketing specialist, recently attended the Young Professionals of Wichita (YPW) Summit. While in attendance, Sundee participated in a breakout session titled ‘Set Goals. Smash Goals. Repeat.’ During the session Carmen Schober, founder of the MillionTo1 Club, spoke about her passion for helping others smash their goals. After research, practice and passion Schober created the MillionTo1 Club, a resource that takes dream chasers through four phases to help achieve their goals. During the session Schober passed around a workbook that accompanies her goal-getting class. “You could feel Carmen’s passion for The MillionTo1 Club. It was inspiring and makes me want to set goals, smash them and repeat the process for sure!” Sundee commented.
KeyCentrix wants to thank the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals of Wichita for putting on a great event for YPs. Interested in learning more about the Kansas YP Summit? Visit their website: http://www.ypkansas.com/.
